After training at the National Ballet School in Canada and dancing with the American Ballet Studio Company for a year, Curry danced professionally with the American Ballet Theatre for nine years. While at the American Ballet Theatre, she flourished in a variety of different soloist and principal roles. In 2014, Curry received the Jennifer Alexander award from the American Ballet Theatre, recognizing a senior female dancer in the corps de ballet who best represents professionalism, perseverance, and generosity.
Curry can be seen performing in ballet class scenes in the 2010 Oscar award winning film, Black Swan where she was also a coach to Natalie Portman.
